Thank you Mark - it’s been a slow dawn on me that there is so much crossover yet so much to share between the disciplines and it’s not as complex as they like us to think!
Most really want sowing by mid summer but I am still sowing and growing phacelia and buckwheat. Buckwheat might still germinate in November (after lifting dahlias) and go through the winter.
Thanks Anna - I’ll give that a go. Nothing to lose. I’ve got white clover in some of my dahlia beds and a heavy carpet of forget me nots that might need moving on.
This has to be the path to follow, as we are all on a new journey now. This year has been tumultuous, for everything, from politics through to soil.... it's all becoming too hot to be complacent!
It's such a tightrope between action and meditation. If I think about it too much, I'm overwhelmed. I can see why so many ignore these issues, it is almost too much to think about. But I still return to trying again and again. Garden is always a balm isn't it?
Fascinating, thank you. Looking forward to the next one v much

Thank you Anna for the process and looking forward to the practicality to come
Thank you Jane - You are already doing much of them!

I made the mistake of leaving forget me nots in place! The clover can stay in my beds though.. that's lovely foliage in the summer too.
You speak to my soul, Anna.
Sonja! What a beautiful thing to say! That means so much. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series. Let me me know if I'm still resonating!

The garden is definitely a healer and a space to believe there is another way.
Looking forward to the next essay.
