Oh Anna…..all so beautifully put and so right!!

I love winter and crave to give in to short days and long sleeps, as my body clock is longing me to do BUT often feel that society does not give me permission to do so. We must be ‘on’ at all times, which quite frankly leads me to overwhelm and anxiety all too quickly!

I will keep you post and read it when I question my desire to hibernate and rest before the spring comes with all it’s renewed energy for life!

Thank you for your beautiful words…

Love Melissa xx

Well Yes! It seems natural to slow down but we live in a world that doesn't! That anxiety and overwhelm leaves us reaching for consumption. It is really hard to go against that. xx

So beautifully and clearly put. We can learn so much from mother nature. Like her, we should be slowing down in winter instead of speeding up. We can still enjoy the festive experience in a slow and mindful way taking our own health and needs into consideration. Thank you for expressing it so poetically with your deep rooted wisdom surrounding nature and beyond. <3

Thank you so much for your kind words there. I agree with you - we can learn so much from the natural world, about regeneration and cycles.
