A Bucket of ‘Ready to Arrange’ Flowers

Skill - Easy

Grow to Arrange Time - One Year +

Vase Life - 7-10 days +

Ingredients

  • Narcissus - Any March Flowering

  • Hellebores - H. Hybridus Single, Double & Double Pink Spotted

  • Begonia ‘Rex’

  • Euphorbia amygdaloides

  • Polystichum setiferum 'Herrenhausen'

  • Forsythia

  • Pussy Willow

  • Blackthorn Blossom

Growing Methods & Conditioning

  1. Cut branches from established shrubs (best planted several years earlier between November and March) of Pussy Willow, Blackthorn blossoms (popular native hedgerow plants) and Forsythia. These shrubs are very hardy, easy to grow in most conditions and positions. Cut branches as the blossom or willow is tight in bud but just emerging. These will open in the warmth of the home.
