Avoidance, distraction, walled garden plans and finally a planting list.
In which she does everything to avoid what she wants to do.
I’ve been wanting to plan renovating part of the walled garden.
But.
I just couldn’t get down to it.
And as I often find, the answers, the inspiration came just as I sat down to finally attended to it this morning.
And now I am writing this instead.
I’m waiting for the software to upload. I thought I’d get going on this piece, knock a first draft up. Something to edit. The editing is easy, once I know what I want to say.
That’s the hard bit.
I started renting the ‘Walled Garden’ right back in late 2016. It seems like a dream now. I had badgered, and I mean badgered just about everyone I could for at least a year. In the end, my landlord (who runs the estate I live on) said ‘I have an idea’ and unlocked the gates to the paddock that ran along the back of our home garden, and a couple more gates until we got into this secret garden.
Untouched for 30 years bar a weekly grass cut and occasional bonfire.
